We are seeking an experienced lecturer to support the effective planning and delivery of Employability courses at our Greenwich Park Campus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in teaching students of varying abilities, covering a range of levels, including Entry-Level 2 courses. The lecturer will also work closely with awarding bodies to ensure the quality and compliance of the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Employability courses across different levels, ensuring a high standard of delivery.
- Assist the Curriculum Manager in developing and expanding the department.
- Support the curriculum development process, aligning with awarding body standards.
- Promote the Employability and related courses within the community.
- Participate in marketing and outreach events as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience teaching Employability or similar courses.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to engage with students of varying abilities.
- Willingness to contribute to curriculum development and departmental growth.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in teaching and or relevant industry experience. They will have achieved a minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy and be a qualified FE teacher or be willing to work towards this.
They would have the ability to articulate clearly and to be understood in teaching and making presentations to class groups and have efficient administration skills to support good student record keeping.
