Cleveland Doan LLP, an established law firm in the White Rock/South Surrey community for over 30 years, has an immediate opening for Junior Legal Assistant - Collections. This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to assist our strata corporation clients with the collection of strata fees and other amounts. This will involve opening files, sending demand letters, the placing of liens, processing payments, the preparation of court applications and billing files.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a graduate from an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant Program.
Have a minimum of one year experience working in a law firm.
Have the ability to excel in a fast paced environment and be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
Be able to use LTSA and BCOnline
Knowledge of the litigation process and experience with strata corporations will be an asset.
