Legal Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal

We are seeking a part-time Legal Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal to join our team at Peter D White and CO' in Edgecliff, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and legal support to our conveyancing practice, assisting with the preparation and processing of property transactions.

This is a part time role, +-5pm for 2-4 days work. Please do not apply if you are looking for full time work.

What you'll be doing

Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, transfer documents, and settlement statements

Conducting property searches and title investigations

Liaising with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to coordinate the conveyancing process

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files

Assisting with the preparation of settlement documents and attending settlements

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in conveyancing, or a similar field

Previous experience in a legal or conveyancing support role, preferably in a law firm or similar environment

Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail

Proficiency in using relevant legal software and office applications including Pexa, Infotrack, typing and shorthand.
