This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a LiDAR Technician III in our Atlanta, GA office to support our Mobile LiDAR, Geospatial / Surveying Team. The successful candidate will be able to function at a high level independently with minimal oversight in setting up projects in terra solid, classifying the lidar and extracting features. This position will also be responsible for the calibration of lidar data in terra match and experience with this is preferred but not required at this time. This is an exceptional opportunity for career progression for a junior level or midlevel lidar analyst in joining a team of subject matter experts who prioritize work life balance.
Your Impact
• Demonstrate teamwork by working with the preprocessing team and project managers to set up projects, calibrate data, build routine classification macros, and contribute with feature extraction as needed.
• Coordinate with and QA/QC other team members classification of lidar data.
