IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

We are a well-regarded local sushi establishment seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our kitchen team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the kitchen and preparation stations are properly stocked and maintained
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing sauces
Support unloading and organizing food deliveries
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchenware, utensils, and workstations
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols
Cook menu items under the guidance of the Sushi Chef
Execute tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated experience as a Line Cook or Kitchen Helper
Familiarity with sushi preparation and Japanese culinary practices is highly desirable
Thorough understanding of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
Strong organizational and communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a team-oriented setting
Possession of Food Handler Training and Smart Choices Responsible Service Certificate is an asset
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.80 per hour
