Role Summary

The Linux Systems Software Developer collaborates with teams across Solara to build the software and infrastructure at the heart of our communications systems. These Linux-based platforms integrate with a wide range of vendor and customer systems, enabling our customers to stay connected anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with other disciplines (back-end, systems, electronics, mechanical) to provide communication channels for mobile and industrial communication devices.
Define and develop software and system requirements for Linux back-end systems.
Implement and oversee the implementation, testing, release, and maintenance of Linux communications and web-based software.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines that automate unit and system-level testing.
Daily monitoring and maintenance of Linux systems
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Strong Proficiency with Python, Perl, PHP, C/C++.
Experience with Django frameworks
Experience with PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or similar relational databases
Working knowledge of Javascript and React
Understanding of Linux servers, systems, and virtualization.
Experience interfacing with and developing RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Experience with GIT version control and CI/CD development practices.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
