We are looking for passionate Shopify developers and designers for our startup. We are a 3 year old product development and marketing startup, that solves problems faced by clients by creating suitable apps and systems.
Skills we are looking for:
Strong knowledge of the Shopify platform
Expertise in Shopify theme development and customization
Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language
Previous work experience of working on multiple Shopify projects from mid to high level
Proficiency in working with different Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections, etc)
An expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/ECMA Script 5/6 & jQuery.
Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
Strong understanding of responsive web design techniques
An understanding of W3C web standards/semantics and accessibility guidelines
Know-how of debugging and testing software for cross-browser compatibility
Responsibilities
Generate custom-tailored Shopify theme and altering the pre-existing template
Be highly experienced in building high-end eCommerce stores on several platforms with a good portfolio
Understand the requirements from briefs, do thorough research, and based on previous experiences -propose the most suitable solution/platform with an ETA.
Prototype solutions quickly, researching new technologies - where applicable and collaborating to implement the technical vision.
Develop websites, applications, and rich multi-media experiences according to the brief and technical specifications. Work closely with other developers to integrate the applications according to departmental standards and processes.
Serve as an interface between engineers and clients/product managers, gathering requirements, writing technical specifications & documentation of feature sets.
Contribute to coding, code review, merging code and functional testing, and final delivery of the product.
