PSA BDP serves over 5 customers, including multinational companies in chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate export and import trafficking functions, data entry, and document distribution duties associated with customer export/import shipments through BDP.
Order Processing: Receive documents, initiate logging process, confirm data compliance with US Customs requirements, process documents accordingly, coordinate cargo availability, arrange pickup and delivery, finalize billing, and distribute documents as required.
Shipment Status reporting: Review daily monitoring reports, ensure measurement standards are met, and proactively report non-conformances.
Maintenance: Ensure all tables are complete and current, assist in accounting issues, perform RFI/RFQ as required, and ensure communications are prompt and content is accurate.
Prepare export declarations and related Bills of Lading in Ocean Exports and Airway Bills for Air Export.
Coordinate outbound and inbound movement of international freight shipments.
Communicate proactively with third-party carriers.
Somewhat knowledgeable about brokerage would be an asset.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years air freight experience.
Knowledge of Transportation industry, Import/Global transportation/Regulatory and business development.
Standard hours and additional time as necessary.
Maintain professional attitude and appearance at all times.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and strong attention to detail are required.
Able to learn various computer programs.
