We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize the supply chain operations in our food manufacturing facility
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of raw materials, finished goods, and distribution while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards
This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods throughout the supply chain, including procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution
Manage inventory levels to ensure a seamless supply of raw materials and on-time delivery of finished products
Oversee transportation logistics, including scheduling, routing, and carrier management, to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries
Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, HACCP, GMP)
Collaborate with production, purchasing, and sales teams to align logistics operations with business goals
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and receiving activities
Analyze data to identify trends, solve logistical challenges, and implement process improvements
Manage and train logistics staff, fostering a culture of safety and accountability
Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers
Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and cost analysis
