We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective transportation and storage of goods. This role requires excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and Oversee Logistics Operations: Manage the entire logistics process, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
Supplier and Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement inventory management strategies to minimize shortages and excess stock.
Transportation Management: Plan and coordinate transportation routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery, optimize costs. and improve efficiency.
Order Fulfillment: Ensure accurate and timely order processing, picking, packing, and shipping of products to customers.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, prepare reports on logistics performance, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to logistics and transportation.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to logistics operations in a timely and effective manner.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
