Our client is A Global Audit & Advisory Firm with direct operations in India, Middle East , Europe and USA. They are looking for Assurance & Advisory (Banking & Financial Services) for their office in Central Mumbai. Below are requirement details

Position: Senior Manager - Assurance & Advisory (Banking & Financial Services)

Experience : 8+ years of working or audit experience in middle and back-office operations of Wealth Management Firms, Mutual Fund AMC’s, AIF, Depository or Capital Markets etc

Role : Full Time On Payroll

Location: Mumbai- Central suburb (Work-from-office)

Salary: 28 LPA to 34 LPA + Benefits

Education : CA qualified

Joining : At the earliest

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Your job responsibilities will include,

• Will be working / practical knowledge about operation of certain service industry of BFS segment such as PMS, MF, AIF, Wealth Management Offshore funds etc.

• The candidate should have the ability to analyze, compare, and interpret facts and figures quickly; and be able sound judgments based on this information.

• He / She should have good oral and written communication skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, leadership and people management skills.

• Business understanding, systems and computer skills are required.

• Accuracy and the ability to handle responsibility with limited supervision are important.

• He / she should not have major constraint for travelling outstation.

• He / She should be in a position to lead the team of at least 4-5 juniors under him and guide them. Also may have to report to partner directly

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Has working or audit experience in middle and back-office operations of Wealth Management Firms, Mutual Fund AMC’s, AIF, Depository or Capital Markets etc.

• Should have thorough knowledge and understanding of investments and securities.

• Should be abreast of the SEBI and RBI regulations applicable.

• Supervision and responsible for quality and timely delivery of all engagements within financial services practice

• Internal SOPs and methodology to be kept updated.

• Define and manage appropriate key performance indicators to ensure delivery of work, as agreed with key stakeholders.

• Strengthen the delivery capabilities of the practice by training and mentoring the team and adhering to professional practice requirements.

• Release alerts and thought leadership articles at regular intervals.

• Partner with Business Solutions resources for automating processes thereby building efficiencies.

• Knowledge of Wealth Spectrum / Miles software would be preferable.

Vital –

• Experience in Bank & Financial Institutions particularly in wealth management firms, depository or capital markets

Essential –

• Ability to work independently, we have an autonomous work environment perfect for individual with strong business judgement

• Proven supervisory abilities

• Attention to detail, accuracy & quality

• People management experience, more proactive, professional maturity, strong work ethic and collaborative work approach
