About The Role

Vision for Education is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work in primary schools in North Somerset. This role involves supporting children with barriers to learning, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide individualized support to students on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings, helping them achieve their learning goals and promoting their self-esteem, confidence, and independence. The ideal candidate will be caring, patient, and able to build positive relationships with students.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant, you will need to:
• Have relevant experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
• Be resilient and capable of handling a high-pressure environment.
• Understand the needs of students with learning difficulties.
• Be reliable in attendance and punctuality.
