About The Role

A typical day will include attending your local delivery station to collect your assigned route at the specific collection time. You will be assigned a route that will typically be 20-25 locations. If delivering a 2-person route, installation of white goods or similar may be required.

Rates

Our competitive rates for Heavy & Bulky Delivery Drivers vary, please see the table below:
• 2 Person Delivery in Lo-Loader: £1+0.00 per route (you must have your own suitable vehicle)
• 1 Person Delivery in Long-Wheelbase van: £170.00 per route (you must have your own suitable vehicle)
• 1 Person Delivery in Long-Wheelbase van: £140.00 per route (this rate includes a vehicle)

Note: We do not provide Lo-Loader vehicles. If you’re intending to deliver a 2-person route, you must have your own suitable vehicle.

Vehicle Requirements

2 Person Delivery in Lo-Loader:
• Vehicle can be with or without tail lift
• Must be capable of holding 16 cubic metres
• Load area must be 5.1 x 2.5m capacity minimum 1 Person Delivery in Long-Wheelbase Van:
• Must be capable of holding 12 cubic metres
• Example vehicles: L3H2 Citroen Relay, Vauxhall Movano, Mercedes Sprinter LWB High Top, Renault Master
• A suitable vehicle in this category can be provided

Getting Started Step 1: Visit the sign-up fast track page on our website. You will find a link to an online application, fill in the online application completing all necessary parts and uploading your personal documents. Ensure that HRM2 – West Thurrock, RM20 3ED (XL) is selected as preferred location. This is the only location we are offering Heavy & Bulky routes from currently.

Step 2: Book a toxicology appointment. At the end of the online application, you will be prompted to complete a toxicology booking at your chosen location. Book an appointment that works for you and attend the screening.

Step 3: Tox done and passed? Great. Your application has already been processed and the recruitment team has been waiting by the submit button which requests a DBS criminal background check. This is a basic check that takes between 24-72 hours on average.

Step 4: With the background check passed, you will be invited for training.

Step 5: Training complete? Last step now. Collect a rental vehicle from one of our partners or if using your own personal vehicle, submit your haulage insurance policy documents to our HR team and you’ll be on the road the next day. Did we mention: Toxicology testing is paid by us. In fact, you don’t need to front any money for anything, even for a deposit on a rental vehicle that you keep in your possession. That’s right, all we need is a little of your time to go through the process.

We mainly service the worlds’ largest online retailer delivering small and medium parcels to their customers each day. Our daily operations are a precise, calculated and rewarding on all levels. We deliver 363 days per year. However, the maximum any one delivery driver can provide services is 6 days per week.
