Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our industrial equipment, contributing to the overall productivity of our organization.

Duties

1. Supervision and Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and housekeeping staff. Assign tasks, schedule work shifts, and provide training and guidance to the team.
2. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for the hotel's equipment, systems, and facilities; Regularly inspect and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment.
3. Repairs and Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel guests and staff; Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and general building maintenance; Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary.
4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Conduct safety inspections and make recommendations for improvements. Maintain records of safety inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
5. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Order and restock supplies as needed while staying within budget constraints.
6. Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the maintenance department budget. Monitor and control expenses, seeking cost-effective solutions.
7. Guest Satisfaction: Prioritize guest requests and resolve maintenance issues to ensure a positive guest experience. Address guest complaints related to maintenance promptly and professionally.
8. Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duty for emergency maintenance issues outside of regular working hours. Respond to and manage emergency situations effectively.
+. Vendor and Contractor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services. Obtain competitive quotes for repair projects and negotiate contracts.
10. Environmental Sustainability: Implement environmentally friendly practices and energy-saving initiatives; Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and certifications.
11. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and equipment inventory. Generate regular reports on maintenance performance and budget utilization. Provide updates to senior management on the status of maintenance projects.
Experience

Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role.
Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment.
