Job Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Maintenance Technician (Mechanic) to join our team in Thomson, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing equipment and machinery used in the manufacturing of medical and dental products. Leveraging your knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, and troubleshooting, you will disassemble, inspect, diagnose, categorize, and store components. You will analyze equipment needs and recommend plans for repairing or replacing worn or broken parts, as well as installing upgrades. Additionally, you will inspect, disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and execute basic repairs on manufacturing equipment and electronic controls.
• Read and interpret technical and repair manuals, as well as vendor resources.
• Utilize expert knowledge of power and hand tools.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
