Job Title: Retail Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

The Retail Maintenance Technician performs skilled work in the installation, operation, modification, service and repair of drywall, electrical, mechanical and plumbing services. Our General Maintenance Technicians are responsible for repairs at our retail customer locations. These customers include Aldi, Publix, Burger Fi, and several other big box stores.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Familiar with and ability to use smart phones and tablets for compiling job information (before and after photos, service notes, quoting, etc.)
• Knowledge of flooring work such as leveling, laying tiles, grouting, VCT tile and Carpet (tiles and roll)
• Drywall and painting skills
• Door and Cabinet Hardware installation/removal
• Light commercial electrical (Changing lights, replacing outlets, switches, ETC.)
• Light commercial plumbing (faucet replacement, toilet rebuild, cable machine knowledge, ETC.)
• Provide clients with support and guidance when onsite
• Repair existing facility equipment according to work orders

REQUIREMENTS:

Successful candidates for the role of General Maintenance Technician are highly motivated, skilled maintenance technicians who are able to solve problems on site. Our General Maintenance Technicians have vast knowledge and skills and go above and beyond in providing a high level of customer service to our customers.
• High School diploma or higher
• 2+ years of maintenance technician
• Ability to navigate a complex organization and execute across multiple functions
• Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organization skills
• Proven “hands-on” troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer functions and software related to job-specific functions
• Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings
• Repairs at retail locations preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
