Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Our client, the U.S.’s largest commercial real estate services firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to support a large-scale production and studio environment in Los Angeles, CA. This 3-month contract-to-hire role is ideal for a well-rounded maintenance professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and hands-on experience across multiple trades. Schedule is Friday–Monday, 2:00pm–12:30am.

Job Description:
• Perform maintenance and repairs across building systems including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general structural components
• Complete assigned daily work orders across multiple buildings, stages, and facilities
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building systems and equipment
• Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, patching, and minor repairs
• Support upkeep of production spaces, warehouses, offices, and related facilities
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of work performed using computer or tablet systems
• Collaborate with team members and provide excellent customer service to on-site stakeholders

Must Have Qualifications:
• 5–10 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with plumbing, basic electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance
• Proven troubleshooting skills across multiple building systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic computer and email proficiency
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school strongly preferred

Nice to Have Qualifications:
• HVAC experience or additional technical certifications
• Experience in production, studio, or large multi-building environments
• Advanced maintenance or specialized trade skills

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
