Job Summary: The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining an orderly and secure Maintenance Shop and Facilities, including the internal and external upkeep of our building and surrounding property. The role will ensure the preventative maintenance of our production equipment, fixing equipment malfunctions between scheduled preventative maintenance operations, and for ensuring that sound electrical, plumbing, compressed air, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and drainage systems are always available and in working order.
Principle Responsibilities:
• Perform Setup, Change Overs and Preventive Maintenance of various production and packaging equipment.
• Perform Lubrication, Cleaning and Inspection of production and packaging equipment, including tooling (punches, dies and dosing discs) for equipment such as tablet presses and capsule fillers.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics and basic understanding of electrical circuits and PLCs.
