Job Description

Job Title: Experienced Male Nurse

Location: Bhubaneswar

Reports To: Nurse Supervisor/Head of Nursing

Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Experienced Male Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The male nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring that all treatments and care are carried out according to established protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress.

Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding when necessary.

Clinical Duties:

Perform routine procedures such as catheterization, wound care, IV insertion, and blood draws.

Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during clinical procedures.

Ensure the safe and proper use of medical equipment.

Patient Education:

Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.

Provide support and guidance to patients with chronic conditions, helping them manage their health effectively.

Collaboration:

Work closely with doctors, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and outcomes.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including notes on patient condition, treatment, and progress.

Ensure all documentation complies with legal and ethical standards.

Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing immediate nursing care and assistance as required.

Participate in emergency preparedness training and drills.

Patient Advocacy:

Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are communicated to the healthcare team.

Respect patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Professional Development:

Stay updated with the latest nursing practices, techniques, and regulations.

Attend continuing education courses and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).

Licensure: Current and valid nursing license in [Insert Location].

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.

Skills:

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures and protocols.
