Great opportunity for the Qualified Accounting Professionals. We are seeking a talented and technically robust Management Accountant to take responsibility for all aspects of management accounting and reporting across the Arora Group.

This role is fully office based (5 days) at the Arora Group head office Heathrow Area.

As a member of the Group Finance Team, this experienced Management Accountant is responsible for accurately maintaining the financial records of the main head office companies. The role includes managing intercompany recharges, cash flow forecasting and preparation of monthly management accounts.

You will be responsible for maintaining the underlying financial records for the main head office entities and allocated dormant/holding companies, manage the intercompany recharge process and prepare monthly management accounts.

Duties and Responsibilites
• Oversee the recording of day to day transactions and daily reconciliation of cash.
• Analyse and understand all expenses to ensure correct allocation to cost codes and legal entities.
• Actively manage the monthly intercompany recharge process for standard recharges and ad hoc costs and oversee the raising of intercompany invoices.
• Oversee the payment of supplier invoices, ensuring correct approvals and timely payment.
• Complete the month end close process, including posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations etc.
• Prepare monthly management accounts in line with the month end close timetable.
• Prepare narrative showing understanding of the business transactions for the month.
• Regularly liaise with business stakeholders and present monthly management accounts to them.
• Actively manage the cash flow needs of the entities and prepare weekly cash flow forecasts.
• Preparation of VAT returns and other relevant tax submissions where necessary.
• Preparation of year-end financial statements
• Assist with the annual statutory audit process.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget including the intercompany recharge budgets.
• Take on ad hoc accounting tasks as required by the business.
• Continually review processes, pro-actively provide ideas for improvement and assist in implementation

Key Skills Required
• Qualified Accountant, ACA. ACCA, CIMA.
• Experience of central cost recharges and intercompany accounting advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Excel & Word
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics finance package is advantageous
• Experience in management accounting, ideally in a head office environment but not essential.
• Experience reviewing and analysing data with excellent attention to detail
• Organised and methodical with strong time management and planning skills
• Strong communication skills both in writing and orally with experience managing stakeholders
• Proactive and demonstrates initiative
• Curious with skills in problem solving and process improvement
• Take pride in their own work and is confident delivering responsibilities with minimum supervision
• A team player who is helpful, enthusiastic and able to work well with others
