Your Opportunity:
You will join the leadership team for the Pharmacy Central Production Facility-South, you will oversee staff and activity in a stand-alone pharmacy production and distribution facility servicing hospitals and other care facilities in the Calgary zone.
Description:
The Manager, Pharmacy Services Central Production Facility-South is a key leadership role and reports directly to the Executive Director, Pharmacy Services, Calgary Zone. This position is responsible and accountable for providing direction, operational leadership, and decision making over the activities of Pharmacy Central Production Facility-South teams in support of the core businesses of Pharmacy services and the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services, ensuring alignment with strategies and initiatives and compliance with Alberta College of Pharmacy regulations and standards. The Manager will develop and maintain strong internal and external working relationships to ensure any issues impacting the program are identified and addressed, and to provide adequate service levels that are optimal and integrated. This includes identifying budget requirements to safely meet program and patient needs and optimize the pharmacy workforce on that site.

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years in a hospital pharmacy role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. 3-5 years progressive leadership experience in a health care environment. Licensure with the Alberta College of Pharmacy is required.
