It primarily focuses on maximizing shareholder value through long-term and short-term financial planning and the implementation of various strategies. It aims to maximize the value of a business through the planning and execution of resources
The Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to oversee audit processes, financial consolidation, GAAP compliance, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and providing key financial insights to support decision-making as per US GAAP, IFRS, IND AS, IGAAP
Key Role Deliverables
-Overseeing internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. (US GAAP, IFRS and Ind AS, IGAAP)
-Leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial standalone financial closure and consolidation process for multiple entities (US GAAP, IFRS and Ind AS, IGAAP)
-Preparing and review GAAP working and provide explanatory note to the management for GAAP difference and supporting working in accordance with US GAAP / IFRS (as applicable)
-Staying updated on changes in GAAP/IFRS and assess their impact on financial reporting
-Implementing new accounting standards and provide technical guidance on complex accounting matters
-Liaising with auditors to facilitate audit planning, execution, and resolution of findings
-Maintaining and improve internal controls to mitigate financial risks
-Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements.
-Working closely with finance teams to ensure alignment with corporate policies
-Handling intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
-Ensuring compliance with SOX (if applicable) and other regulatory requirements
Prerequisites
-IFRS, US GAAP, Ind AS (Must) and financial reporting standards
-Experience in working with ERP systems (D365, Tally).
-Listed company or Big 4 experience
-Taxation including TP, Direct Tax, GST, International Tax
-Communication skills, presentation skills
-ERP and dashboard implementation skills
-Consolidation, ESOP, FX, TP, Corporate laws, Disclosure, ESG, lease accounting
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-Prior experience in a Big 4 firm or multinational corporation is a plus
-Excellent multi-tasking skills Relationship Management with cross functions
-Proactive and entrepreneurial traits; and a willingness to grow and learn on daily basis
Experience
Min 6-8 years of experience (post qualification)
Education
CA, CMA, (Mandatory)
CS, MBA, ACCA, Diploma IFRS (Optional)
