Experience: 3–5 years in digital marketing / social media strategy, or entertainment communications
Overview:
Big Bad Wolf is looking for a social media and campaign wizard who lives and breathes digital culture, understands the pulse of entertainment, music, creators, and cinema — and can translate that into strategic executions for talent and the agency.
This role combines hands-on execution with team leadership. You’ll drive artist campaigns, shape agency communication, and guide a small team toward best-in-class content and comms.
What You’ll Do:
Artist-Led Campaigns
• Lead campaign planning and execution for music artists, creators, and filmmakers
• Build digital-first rollouts for song releases, film announcements, IP launches, and branded content
• Coordinate PR and press outreach, including story angles, timelines, and interview setups
• Work closely with artist managers to tailor comms to each talent’s voice, values, and fanbase
Agency Communications
• Manage and grow BBW’s digital footprint across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Build a consistent, compelling narrative around the agency’s work, artists, and cultural footprint
• Lead content ideation and publishing for behind-the-scenes, team stories, wins, and launches
Trend & Culture Tracking
• Be our radar: stay ahead of platform shifts, content formats, creator launches, and fan movements
• Run monthly “what’s trending” roundups and competitor audits
• Apply learning from music, creators, and pop culture to agency campaigns
You’re Right For This Role If You:
• Have built or managed artist or creator campaigns — and have numbers or headlines to show for it
• Understand the difference between marketing to a fan vs. to a brand vs. to an algorithm
• Can write clear, compelling social media and campaign copy in your sleep
• Thrive in chaos, move fast, and obsess over getting every detail right
• Are plugged in to the latest on YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, OTT, TikTok (where relevant), and Reddit
• Can brief designers, chase PR, close a calendar, and write a caption — all before lunch
Nice to Haves:
• PR or media background
• Past experience working with music artists, production houses, or digital creators
• Visual design sense or experience with content workflows
• Working relationships with journalists or entertainment media
