ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE :
Steer the Bank in setting up entire Risk management framework for Fx business viz., process, policy, limit set up, business MIS and limit monitoring and regulatory aspects governing Fx business
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE :
• Resource should be thorough with various Fx products, its risk measurement, management and timely reporting
• Should be able to independently develop policies, SOP and risk dashboards for Fx business of the Bank to provide comprehensive status update to senior management and concerned stakeholders
• Should be well versed with system implementation / requirement for Fx products and to drive end to end UAT / implementation
• The candidate should be familiar with extant regulatory norms for managing Fx risk management
• Preparing MIS Reports & providing timely and proactive analysis portraying various facets of Fx risk management.
• Calculating market risk capital charge based on Basel / RBI guidelines.
• Computation of VaR of domestic and FX treasury portfolios.
• Performing prudential norms monitoring like liquidity risk, counterparty, Money market & other limits.
• Should be able to develop robust internal monitoring to ALCO, RMCB and Board as well as periodic regulatory reporting to RBI.
• Understands market risk management of domestic treasury covering Gsec, SDL, non SLR investments.
