Responsibilities
The Manager of Event Logistics & Planning is responsible for leading, organizing, and executing logistical operations for all internal LEK events in the US
They will be responsible for spearheading logistical aspects for multiple events and activities, including managing event design with internal stakeholders, researching and identifying venue options, negotiating contracts with vendors and shepherding through L.E.K.’s legal process, and coordinating internal invites, surveys, etc
The Manager of Event Logistics & Planning also prepares event-specific budget projections, managing events and the events portfolio to determined budget
Plan, budget, coordinate and track all US firm events, retreats, and conferences
Manage event logistics, including booking event space, arranging food and beverage, ordering supplies, and coordinating audio/visual equipment
Manages event budgets, including pre-estimated expenses through final reports
Maintain vendor relationships, as needed
Maintain complete and accurate records for each event
Handle follow-up tasks and reporting after each event
Complete and submit documentation for events, including event proposals, staff travel authorizations, hotels arrangements, payment requests, etc
Assist in the execution of internal events, as needed
Work directly with firm leadership on recording, tracking, and all
Work closely with the finance and operations team to manage vendor event deposits and invoices, along with timely submission and managing budget requirements for each event
Provide support and expertise for office events, as needed, including consulting on venue selection and negotiating contracts
Update and maintain firm calendars, ensuring accuracy to support business needs

Overview Of Function
