This role sits within Laurentian Bank.
The incumbent will supervise and coordinate the activities of the SAP/SAE change management team, ensuring their professional development and the achievement of shared objectives. They will be tasked with orchestrating the implementation of strategic and organizational initiatives within the Personal & Commercial Banking business line. Additionally, they will actively contribute to the development of change management strategies and the deployment and execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
Supervises and coordinates the activities of the team of senior advisors and analysts, ensuring their professional development and the achievement of common goals.
Plays a key role with business line managers by providing advice and recommendations to align projects with organizational objectives and facilitate decision-making
Establishes the action plans required for the delivery of strategic and tactical business line projects.
Participates in the management of initiatives and organizational changes for the business line, mainly in the areas of processes, internal communications, systems, regulatory updates, payment systems, etc.
Ensures the continuous execution and evolution of projects, coordinates timelines, and keeps stakeholders informed of initiative progress.
Collaborates with corporate, IT, and business sector stakeholders throughout the duration of projects.
Documents project scope, objectives, stakeholder business needs, impacts, risks, interdependencies with other projects, and the added value for the organization.
Keeps knowledge up to date on current legislation, policies, programs, and procedures of the Bank.
Qualifications
University education in a relevant field and 7 years of experience, including 5 years in banking operations and management.
Strong knowledge of retail or commercial banking services.
Good understanding of the Canadian banking regulatory environment.
Experience managing projects or initiatives at an executive level.
Bilingual*, both spoken and written (French and English).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project.
Knowledge of Confluence and Jira is an asset.
Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages
