About the Team
The Value Stream Acceleration Services team, part of the Engineering, Product, Innovation and Cloud (EPIC) organization, is responsible for serving a portfolio of value streams that feed into an enterprise SaaS product, with the goal of accelerating better outcomes for our people and our customers. The team is composed of highly skilled practitioners who have expertise in their respective areas and work collaboratively to ensure that value streams are delivering maximum value. The team is committed to driving innovation, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Manager of Technical Program Management to join our team. In this role you are an integral part of a dynamic team leading and managing a team of program managers, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed to optimize delivery for our Value Stream based organization. You will be developing and implementing program management processes, standards, and methodologies to ensure consistency and efficiency across the EPIC organization.
Responsibilities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Cloud, and Security, for identifying and delivering on business outcomes for the Value Stream
• Support the professional growth and development of a team of professionals, including identifying development opportunities, providing mentoring and coaching, and helping team members plan and achieve their career goals
• Lead by example to cultivate and maintain a culture built on teamwork, collaboration, and a growth mindset
• Continuously improving program management processes, tools, and methodologies to deliver improved Collaboration and Operational Efficiency
• Managing resource allocation, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Identify and manage critical path workflows and cross-functional dependencies; collect and analyze program metrics to manage initiatives and drive accountability; identify and resolve bottlenecks
• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree required
• At least 1-3 years leading a program / project management team and 5 years of project management experience.
• Must be flexible to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple, detailed tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
• Project Management Professional or SAFe certification
• Experience with UKG Product Suites, or with other HCM Solutions (Human Capital Management)
• Experience leading and motivating geographically dispersed teams
• Experience with Enterprise office collaboration, product management and program/project management tools is a plus (Microsoft 365, Aha!, Jira, Smartsheet, PowerBI)
