Position Overview:

Evvolve & Partners is seeking an experienced and dynamic Managing Director to lead our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) division. This executive will oversee deal origination, execution, and advisory services for our clients, working closely with entrepreneurs, strategic investors, and venture capitalists. The Managing Director will also be responsible for expanding the firm’s M&A portfolio by identifying disruptive innovations and aligning them with growth-oriented investors. This role requires deep expertise in M&A transactions, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deal Origination & Sourcing:
• Identify and develop strategic M&A opportunities across various industries, with a focus on disruptive and innovative businesses.
• Build and maintain a strong network of relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, private equity, venture capital firms, and corporate decision-makers.
• Evaluate potential M&A targets, conducting market research, and staying ahead of industry trends.
• Transaction Management & Execution:
• Lead all phases of the M&A process, including deal structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
• Oversee financial modeling, valuations, and risk assessments for prospective deals.
• Work closely with legal, financial, and advisory teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Develop comprehensive integration strategies for acquired businesses to ensure operational success.
• Client Advisory & Relationship Management:
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights into M&A opportunities that align with their business goals and growth strategies.
• Manage and expand the firm's relationships with high-net-worth individuals, venture capitalists, and other financial institutions.
• Represent Evvolve & Partners in client meetings, industry events, and public forums to build the company’s presence in the M&A space.
• Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing M&A team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with other business units to cross-sell services and identify synergies across Evvolve’s platform.
• Strategic Growth & Market Expansion:
• Develop and execute a growth strategy for the M&A division, aligning with the broader goals of Evvolve & Partners.
• Stay up-to-date with market developments, regulatory changes, and economic trends that impact the M&A landscape.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or a related financial services sector, with a proven track record of leading and closing deals.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, deal structuring, and valuation methodologies.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex transactions.
• Extensive network within the investment and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to build and manage teams and work cross-functionally.
• High level of strategic thinking, combined with practical execution capabilities.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
• Deep knowledge of the venture capital and private equity landscape.
• Familiarity with high-growth sectors, particularly those driven by innovation and technology.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for identifying emerging trends and investment opportunities.
