ABOUT THE TEAM:

Are you ready to dive into the world of cutting-edge aerospace technology? Our Manufacturing Engineering team is at the heart of turning innovative designs into tangible, high-performance hardware. This is your chance to be part of the critical process that brings real hardware to life and adds immense value to our business. We are the primary frontline engineering support for the Electron Launch vehicle – the most launched light lift rocket in the world. As an intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to witness numerous launches, some of which you will have directly contributed to during your time with us. Our team is also pioneering the development of Neutron, transforming R&D designs into manufacturable products ready for launch. We design and build the machines and processes that construct these incredible rockets.

YOUR MISSION:

Support the Neutron F2 Manufacture by productionising prototype designs from F1 and developing tooling and automation to enable high-rate manufacture for Neutron. Your key responsibilities will include:

Productionise at least one avionics product: Take innovative designs and make them ready for mass production.
Design and deliver tooling and jigging: Create tools and jigs to enhance manufacturing rates.
Release production quality work instructions: Develop and document detailed instructions for at least one product.
Develop material sourcing plan: Complete process qualification for at least one Neutron Avionics part.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Current student in good academic standing in one of the following fields: Aerospace / Aeronautical / Astronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics
Software scripting experience in Python for data processing and other applications.
Experience with electronic systems such as Arduino, Atmel, and embedded systems.
CAD experience for electro-mechanical design.
REQUIREMENT:

Available to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning November 2025.
