About the Opportunity

The Government Of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to fill the position of Industry Development Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders to drive economic growth and development in the manufacturing sector. You will be responsible for identifying and supporting opportunities for growth and investment, as well as building and fostering collaborative relationships with industry, business, government, and research and education sectors.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Develop and implement strategies to advance industry-wide capability and grow priority industries in the manufacturing sector
Provide high-level strategic advice and succinct reports and recommendations to senior management
Support the growth of a strong, diversified, globally connected and high-value local manufacturing industry
Qualifications and Experience

A significant amount of experience in the development and implementation of high-quality partnering and engagement activities
A sound knowledge of business, management and stakeholder practices
A demonstrated ability to think strategically, conceptually and creatively in the design, implementation and delivery of programs and activities
