Position Overview

We are seeking a Market Research Manager who is ready to dive deep into consumer insights, industry trends, and competitive intelligence. This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, proactive, and thrives in a fast-moving, hands-on environment. You will lead research initiatives that influence product development, brand positioning, and go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, plan, and execute qualitative and quantitative research projects (e.g., consumer surveys, focus groups, in-depth interviews, ethnographic studies).
• Analyse market trends, competitor performance, and consumer behaviour across global and regional skincare markets.
• Collaborate with product development, R&D, marketing, and sales teams to ensure insights are integrated into strategy and execution.
• Manage external research agencies and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for ongoing performance tracking and market intelligence.
• Present clear, concise, and compelling research findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Monitor emerging trends in skincare, wellness, and consumer habits to identify new opportunities and risks.
• Conduct post-launch evaluations and customer feedback studies to measure product success and brand health.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Psychology, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in market research, preferably in the beauty, skincare, or consumer goods industry.
• Strong knowledge of research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) and analytics tools (e.g., SPSS, Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
• Experience with syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, Mintel) and social listening tools.
• Self-starter with a proactive, can-do attitude—ready to wear multiple hats and make things happen.
• Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Passion for skincare, beauty, and consumer insights.
