Business Development Intern(B2B) – AI & Robotics Services

Location: Bengaluru

Type: Internship (3–6 months)

Experience: Freshers and up to 1 year of experience welcome

Our work spans across Training, R&D design, hardware development, and enabling innovation spaces through our SP Robotics Maker Lab — a network of maker labs across India providing practical, hands-on tech learning to all ages. We help businesses and institutions integrate modern AI and robotics capabilities into their operations through tailor-made solutions and infrastructure.

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Business Development Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves technology and people in equal measure.

You will be the first point of contact for potential clients - interacting with leads who have shown interest in our offerings, and helping convert that curiosity into genuine opportunities. Beyond inbound leads, you’ll also be expected to proactively identify and reach out to new potential clients, expanding our pipeline through research, networking, and direct outreach.

Responsibilities

Engage with inbound/outbound leads, understand their interests and pain points

Conduct introductory calls and qualify leads before passing them to the core sales or tech team

Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to improve outreach and messaging

Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and help streamline the CRM process

Identify new client segments and partnership opportunities

Represent the company in online meetings and occasional events or expos

You consistently create quality touchpoints with leads and improve conversion rates

You develop a clear understanding of client needs and align them with the right service offering

You become a confident representative of our mission to bridge tech education and implementation

Qualifications

Strong interest or foundational understanding of AI, robotics, and related technologies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English is a must)

Ability to handle conversations with empathy, clarity, and confidence

Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, CRM systems, and LinkedIn

Bonus If You Have

Prior experience in sales, lead generation, or community engagement

Participation in tech clubs, maker fests, or college-level robotics/AI events
