So here’s the pitch… We’re looking for a marketing and sales content writer to join our amazing in-house B2B marketing and sales enablement team. We’re looking for a talented copywriter with an ability to distill market trend and product information into persuasive stories for prospective customers to fuel new business.
As a marketing and sales content writer, you’ll work closely with team members (sales content strategists, designers and product marketers), our Creative Studio and stakeholders across the company to produce a wide variety of sales content, including presentations, case studies, fact sheets and the occasional video or infographic.
You're a proficient writer, editor and proofreader with a strong understanding of voice and style and an ability to apply them to complex topics. You’ve experience producing everything from sales presentations to thought-provoking long-form reports. You can structure and develop compelling narratives that speak to the customer challenge and benefit. And you understand the importance of meeting deadlines and can manage multiple competing priorities.
You’re a strategic thinker who brings value to every project by approaching it with a curious mind and a journalist’s eye. You know how to ask the right questions and distill the answers down into crisp, compelling copy and always bring the outside in. You’re always looking for ways to infuse a creative edge into everything you do and work effectively with designers to present your content in the most accessible and engaging materials.
You have a passion or interest in payments and digital technologies and like to keep up to date with the latest industry trends.
Finally, you have a growth mindset. You’re passionate about skill development, continual learning and maximizing every opportunity to push yourself and those around you.
Necessary skills
Copywriting
• Write thoughtful, well-crafted marketing and sales copy in a variety of formats including PowerPoint presentations, factsheets and case studies.
• Ability to work effectively from a written and/or verbal brief and meet/exceed expectations
• Ensure all content is accurate, precise and aligned with the Mastercard brand and style guidelines and best practices
• Distill potentially complex fintech concepts and solutions into clear and engaging language
• Possess a keen eye for detail and be able to edit copy for content and grammar
• Driven to produce high-quality work and willing to stay current with industry writing and editorial trends
Business skills
• Collaborate with and serve as a strategic partner to internal team and stakeholders across the company
• Understand the business goals and marketing strategies of our stakeholders
• Work effectively with others to identify challenges and opportunities and use creative and strategic thinking to generate solutions
• Demonstrate a curiosity to stay on top of emerging trends in the technology and payments space

Required Experience
• Minimum 3 years working as a copywriter, content writer or related role, some B2B or technology experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, communications or a related field
• Agency experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with project management software
