Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in developing, implementing, and overseeing marketing strategies and communication campaigns with the objective of increasing and retaining new members. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Planning and Execution:
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns that align with company objectives.
Monitor and report on campaign performance and suggest improvements.
Promote product and services for the Centre for Meat Innovation and Technology (CMIT)
Content Creation and Management:
Develop engaging content for digital and traditional marketing channels (social media, email, print, etc.).
Assist in the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, newsletters, and ads.
Continue the development of BLOCKTalk magazine and deliver relevant and topical content for members
Manage ads and vendor relationships for BLOCKTalk magazine
Manage and update the company’s website and social media profiles.
Market Research and Analysis:
Analyze campaign performance data and generate reports to optimize future strategies.
Assist in gathering feedback from customers and stakeholders.
Events and Competitions:
Help plan and coordinate events, webinars, trade shows, or other promotional activities.
Coordinate logistics for events, including vendor management, promotions, and attendee communications.
Collaboration and Team Support:
Collaborate with other marketing team members, sales, and external partners to support cross-functional marketing activities.
Assist in budget management and ensure campaigns stay within budget constraints.
Maintain marketing calendars, timelines, and project management systems to ensure timely execution of tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in a marketing or related field (internships may be considered).
Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing strategies, and social media platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and content management systems (CMS).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
