Position Summary
As the Director of Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution, performance, and results of our internal and client-facing marketing efforts. This is a key leadership role with broad responsibility and influence. You will own the marketing department, coach and grow the internal team, guide our service strategy, and serve as the bridge between operations and sales.
We are looking for someone entrepreneurial by nature who thrives on taking ownership, improving processes, and driving results. You will also be our internal marketing leader, helping align the team around deliverables, client outcomes, and long-term company success.
Compensation:
$58,000 + bonuses
Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
Lead and manage the marketing operations department, including SEO specialists, paid ads managers, copywriters, web developers, and creative partners.
Ensure client deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and with excellence.
Build, document, and continuously improve SOPs, internal workflows, and reporting systems.
Monitor and manage fulfillment to protect company-wide gross profit targets.
Collaborate with the sales team to coach on services, pricing, and what’s working in client accounts.
Own the internal marketing strategy and execution for Zero Doubt Marketing.
Proactively drive client results, satisfaction, and retention.
Report directly to the COO with accurate, data-driven updates and insights.
Compensation and Bonus Plan
Base Salary: $58,000/year (paid bi-weekly)
Bonus Eligibility: Quarterly performance-based bonus of up to $5,500 per quarter (annual target = $22,000)
Bonus KPI Structure (Quarterly):
Gross Profit Margin (60%) – Company-wide GP must be 65% to earn full bonus. No bonus is paid if GP < 50%.
Deliverables & Client Success (25%) – 95% of client deliverables on time + 2 client escalations.
Operational Improvements (15%) – Minimum one documented SOP, automation, or efficiency initiative per quarter.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong understanding of SEO, paid ads, web development, and content strategy
2+ years in a marketing leadership or operations role, preferably in an agency environment
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and client-facing communication
Strong understanding of marketing KPIs, reporting tools, and profitability metrics
Experience building and optimizing internal workflows, SOPs, and project management systems
Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for ownership, problem-solving, and growth
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple deadlines
Hands-on experience with tools like ClickUp, Google Ads, GA4, SEMrush, WordPress/Webflow, and Slack is a plus
