The Marketing Manager will support the delivery of revenue targets alongside the regional teams, by planning, delivering, optimizing and reporting on iQ's customer acquisition campaigns. This role will also be responsible for all regional marketing activities including events.
Key Role Responsibilities:
• Leading and delivering on the tactical and strategic marketing activity required to acquire new customers through iQ's channel partners
• Establishing new partnership opportunities for acquisition
• Identifying and establishing new international partnership opportunities for acquisition in close collaboration with the Head of International Partnerships.
• Establishing new local partnerships in iQ's regions, to enhance customer experience and support acquisition.
• Enhancing our acquisition opportunities through our university partnerships, in close collaboration with our Heads of Partnerships.
• Delivering on the tactical and strategic marketing activity required for the engagement and retention of customers at all iQ sites.
• Leading anddelivering on the tactical and strategic marketing activity required for the amplification of the iQ brand by customers.
• Delivering on the customer comms lifecycle from point of booking to check-out, considering opportunities to win back customers who have moved on too.
• Leading and delivering on the tactical and strategic marketing activity required to optimise online and on-site customer journeys and experience.
• Fully understanding the local market conditions and requirements of iQ's regions and sites
• Acting as the marketing business partner to Regional Managers and Operations Managers
Key skills and experience:
• Demonstrable experience in customer acquisition using channel partners, customer retention, engagement, communication and experience.
• Demonstrable experience in identifying and onboarding new partners for acquisition activities, demonstrating rigour in the selection process.
• Demonstrable experience in maximising the potential of existing and new partnerships, demonstrating rigour in the consideration of marketing channels to use, spends and ROI.
• Solid understanding of marketing principles, theory, and current best practice.
• Knowledge of the full marketing mix and how to implement and adapt marketing activity at different points of the target customer journey to build brand awareness, and drive enquiries and sales. optimise customer experience, build brand awareness, improve sales and enhance product amplification.
• Proficient in managing multiple priorities, strong organisational and project management skills.
• Strategic mind with the ability to devise marketing plans, implement, report on and optimize the performance of acquisition marketing campaigns.
• Understanding of digital tech platforms, processes and data flows.
• Demonstrable experience in the use of marketing analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics.
• Demonstrable experience in the use of email marketing platforms.
• Strong influencer of peers and colleagues; persuasive communicator building consensus, collaboration and buy-in at all levels as needed.
• Strong commercial acumen; excellent grasp of data-driven marketing.
• Experience in managing suppliers and partners, and working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a multi-channel marketing environment.
• Understanding of digital channels and platforms customers engage with, to optimize comms delivery and messaging.
We work a hybrid working model with 3 days per week based at our London Bridge office.
