We are seeking a full-time, ongoing Marketing Officer to join our team

About the Role
The Marketing Officer plays a key role in delivering the School’s marketing and communications strategy, with a particular focus on campaign coordination, content creation, publications, and stakeholder engagement. This position directly supports brand awareness, enrolment marketing, and community engagement by developing compelling marketing assets, coordinating consistent messaging, and contributing to the execution of major initiatives and events.
About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
Excellent written English and effective interpersonal communication skills
Excellent technological literacy across a range of applications
Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, media, or a related field
A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
3–5 years’ experience in a marketing role
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences and purposes
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality communication outcomes
Excellent organisational skills, including managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
Strong digital literacy and understanding of current media, platforms, and analytics
A proactive, future-focused mindset and ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans.
Desirable:
Experience in independent schools, higher education, or the not-for-profit sector
Familiarity with alumni engagement, philanthropy, and donor communications.
All team members at CGS are required to have:
Appropriate qualifications
A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
A current National Police Check; and
Full working rights within Australia.
