Job description
As the Marketing Operations Analytics and Reporting Manager, you will play a key role within the Emarsys Marketing organization helping to drive marketing effectiveness through operations optimization and data analytics. You will report into the Head of Marketing Operations, supporting the Global Marketing team, and serving as a trusted partner by gathering, organising, and analysing data sets from multiple sources. You will do this by delivering actionable insights, optimising processes, and workflows, and leveraging reporting tools to analyse results, market insights and marketing program effectiveness.
This role will provide three critical elements to our success.
• Measurement - capturing what we are doing
• Analysis - understanding where we can improve
• Knowledge sharing - converting the insights into action
This is an engaging and hands-on role, so will suit an individual who is able to model a system, analyse its constraints, calculate the importance of each piece, and deliver the predicted impact of Marketing projects, programmes, and campaigns.
Location: London, Belin, Vienna or Budapest - hybrid/remote
YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyse existing data and historical trends. You will convert this data into insights, best practices and answers to complex questions including optimising the routing of leads, lead scoring, campaign tracking, attributing sales pipeline to marketing activities, setting benchmarks and understanding our database health
• Be the guardian of metrics and KPIs upon which the direction of the marketing will be set
• Forecasting performance, review, and report on targets for the marketing teams
• Ensure that marketing measurement drives the performance of key functions and campaigns
• Undertake ad-hoc analyses on ongoing marketing activities to advise on best practices
• Work with digital and demand generation team to build maintain reports and dashboards on key performance metrics.
• Manage the key marketing metrics which determine investment, the status of marketing initiatives, program ROI, consumer acquisition and consumer retention
• Monitor data quality across marketing metrics and operations
• Manage the reporting of day-to-day campaign activities, reporting from basic campaign tracking to attribution models
YOUR PROFILE
• 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in marketing
• Minimum 2-3 years working with a marketing automation platform (ideally Marketo)
• Minimum of 2-3 years working with a CRM, ideally Salesforce. Confident in reading and interpreting CRM data, building reports and basic dashboards.
• A data-driven, analytical mindset with a deep interest and strong ability in conducting quantitative analyses, understanding of lead scoring, ROI, leading volume trends, forecasting, and SaaS experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high quality deliverables with attention to detail.
• Must be an Excel Geek with experience in Power BI, and other reporting tools.
