We’re looking for a highly technical Marketing Operations Manager with deep expertise in Marketo to take ownership of our marketing technology stack and marketing database. This role requires a strong technical background in marketing automation, data orchestration, and system optimization to enhance performance. You will also collaborate closely with sales ops to craft reports, analyze data, and make recommendations to improve performance not only for marketing campaigns but the overall go-to-market function.
In this role (remote-first: US and Canada), you’ll report to our VP Marketing and work closely with our marketing and sales teams. Expect a fast-paced, autonomous environment where you’ll wear multiple hats, be accountable and recognized for being creative and results-oriented. What You’ll Do
Process Management: Identify, develop, and implement scalable processes, workflows, and automations to help the marketing team more effectively deliver goals and programs
Goal Setting: Develop measurement plans which contain benchmarks and goals for every marketing program as well as an agenda for testing and experimentation to improve marketing execution and performance
Campaign Management and Execution: Collaborate with marketing colleagues to assist in managing integrated campaigns from start to finish; implement campaign tactics and components as needed to deliver against plans
Data Management: Maintain the health of our marketing database and ensure data is synced seamlessly in Salesforce and Marketo for accurate and up-to-date attribution, lead management, and reporting
Segmentation: Manage list segmentation and lead scoring to deliver more targeted and relevant messaging to improve engagement and ultimately conversion of prospects
Infrastructure: Own, maintain and improve our marketing tech stack; ensure integrations are functioning and that our team is benefiting from full utilization of technology investments
Email Management: Execute email marketing programs and A/B tests, maintain regulatory compliance, leverage best practices to improve performance, optimize delivery and engagement, and provide reporting
Digital Ads and Landing Page Execution: Set up digital ads (Paid media, Paid search, Paid social) and landing pages for campaigns with appropriate tracking in place
Lead Management: Support marketing and sales revenue goals by maintaining our lead/contact management process, including lead lifecycle, lead scoring, and sales alerts
Performance Measurement and Analysis: Develop marketing KPIs and robust campaign reporting, continuously monitor performance, develop insights, and inform discussions across marketing, sales, and the leadership team
From a time management perspective, anticipate spending ~20% of your time in martech tune-up/optimization, ~20% in data orchestration, ~35% in campaign set-up and deployment (e.g. setting up programs in Marketo and corresponding martech stack), and ~25% in analytics and reporting.
Who We’re Looking For (Technical Requirements)
5+ years of demonstrated success working in marketing operations or revenue operations. This does NOT include project management or digital marketing.
This is a highly technical role with a requirement of in depth marketing automations platforms
5+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, with required expertise in Marketo, Hubspot and Salesforce.

A strong understanding of Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, WordPress, Qualified (or similar), Unbounce, ZoomInfo, and Rollworks (or similar)
3+ years of experience with data analysis and visualization tools (PowerBI, Looker)
Highly analytical with experience measuring marketing performance including campaign ROI and attribution
Familiar with GDPR, CCPA, etc. regulations and marketing consent practices
Experienced in the technical execution of campaign orchestration, lead nurturing, and marketing automations (e.g. forms, workflows)
Ability to manage and run multiple concurrent projects within established timelines using project management tools such as Monday.com
Collaborative style and ability to work across different teams and levels within the organization.
