Zingy Gifts is a fast-growing, bootstrapped personalized gifting brand. We create unique, customized products—from personalized storybooks to caricatures and corporate gifts. We currently sell through our website (www.zingygifts.com) and are now expanding to marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, and others. We're looking for someone to build and manage our marketplace presence from the ground up.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketplace Listing & SEO Specialist to manage and optimize our product listings across Amazon, Flipkart, and other e-commerce platforms. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, SEO-optimized product listings that drive visibility, clicks, and conversions. This is a hands-on role requiring strong writing skills, SEO knowledge, and familiarity with marketplace backend tools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Listing Creation
Create and upload product listings on Amazon, Flipkart, and other marketplaces.
Write compelling, keyword-rich product titles, bullet points, and descriptions that convert.
Ensure all listings follow platform-specific guidelines (character limits, image requirements, category trees).
Upload and manage product images, videos, and A+ Content / Enhanced Brand Content.
2. SEO & Keyword Research
Conduct in-depth keyword research for each product using tools like Amazon Keyword Tool, Google Keyword Planner, and competitor analysis.
Identify high-volume, high-intent keywords for product titles, backend search terms, and descriptions.
Continuously optimize existing listings to improve search ranking and visibility.
3. Catalog Management
Maintain a master catalog of all products with consistent attributes (SKU, pricing, inventory).
Manage variations (size, color, personalization options) across marketplaces.
Ensure inventory sync between marketplaces and our systems (coordinate with operations team).
4. Performance Tracking & Optimization
Monitor listing performance: impressions, clicks, conversion rate, and sales.
Run A/B tests on titles, images, and pricing to identify what drives better results.
Identify opportunities for sponsored ads (Amazon PPC) and coordinate with marketing team.
5. Marketplace Compliance
Stay updated on marketplace policies, fees, and best practices.
Ensure listings comply with all guidelines to avoid suspensions or suppression.
Who You Are (Requirements)
SEO Knowledge - You understand keyword research, search intent, and how to structure content for algorithms.
Excellent Writing SkillsYou can write clear, persuasive, and error-free product copy that sells.
Marketplace ExperienceYou've used Amazon Seller Central or Flipkart Seller Hub before (1+ year preferred).
Attention to DetailYou catch errors before they go live—wrong prices, missing images, policy violations.
Basic Excel/SheetsYou can manage product data, bulk uploads, and track performance metrics.
Self-Starter MindsetYou take ownership of the catalog and proactively optimize without being told.
Bonus Skills (Good to Have)
Experience with Amazon PPC / Sponsored Ads
Knowledge of Canva or basic image editing for listing images
Familiarity with Shopify (since our main store is on Shopify)
Understanding of gifting or personalized products category
