We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves educating students in various mathematical concepts, from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus, while also supporting students with special educational needs. A successful Mathematics Teacher will effectively communicate complex ideas and inspire students to develop their problem-solving skills.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
Educate students on mathematical concepts, theories, and applications.
Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Utilize various teaching methods, including laboratory activities and tutoring sessions, to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
Collaborate with special education staff to support students with individualized education plans (IEPs).
Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior effectively.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities.
Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on mathematics is required.
Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with special education practices is advantageous.
Strong communication skills are essential for conveying complex mathematical concepts clearly.
Experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support is a plus.
Proficiency in using educational technology and resources to enhance learning experiences.

Pay: $15.65-$43.40 per hour
