Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Tutor to support students in reaching their academic goals. The successful candidate will bring a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and experience working with school-aged children. This role includes providing personalized instruction, guiding students through homework and exam preparation, and creating a positive and productive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Provide engaging and effective tutoring sessions based on individual student needs
Support students with understanding class material, homework, and test preparation
Create lesson plans and learning materials that align with curriculum expectations
Track student progress and offer constructive feedback
Maintain a supportive environment that encourages confidence and motivation
Arrive on time and maintain a high level of professionalism
Communicate with parents, teachers, or school staff when needed to align learning goals
Requirements

Minimum 3 years of tutoring or teaching experience
OCT certification preferred
Experience working in public or private school settings is an asset
Classroom management experience
Reliable and punctual in fulfilling scheduled sessions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of Ontario curriculum is an advantage
Patient, adaptable, and able to connect well with students
Access to reliable transportation is an asset
Genuine interest in education and supporting student success
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
