Due to increasing demand, Career Teachers is looking to hire additional Maths Teachers for both short-term and long-term placements in Wakefield in September 2026. Whether you can offer us 1 to 5 days a week, we have opportunities that can fit around your other commitments.

Requirements For Joining Us
• Relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, B.Ed, or BA Hons) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Strong curriculum knowledge
• Flexibility and willingness to work at short notice
• Willingness to cover different key stages in secondary education; we strive to offer cover work within your specialism whenever possible
• An enhanced DBS that is on the update service, or willingness to obtain a new DBS (cost covered by you)

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
