We are seeking a passionate and experienced Maths Teacher (SEN) to join a forward-thinking special school in Chelmsford. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored maths education to students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring each pupil reaches their full potential.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is enthusiastic about supporting students with diverse learning needs and has a proven ability to adapt lessons to meet individual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons tailored to students with SEN.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with the SEN team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to support students in their development.
• Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals regarding student progress.

Qualifications And Experience
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching maths, with a focus on supporting SEN students.
• Strong understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and individualised learning strategies.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
