Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maximo Admin Trainee to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for freshers looking to build a career in enterprise asset management (EAM) systems, specifically IBM Maximo. You will gain hands-on experience in system configuration, user administration, and support activities under the guidance of senior Maximo administrators.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the day-to-day administration and support of the IBM Maximo system.
• Possess a basic understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Have foundational knowledge of any cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud, or GCP (considered a strong advantage).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as OpenShift and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Prior Maximo training or certification is highly desirable for this role.
• Support user management tasks, including managing accounts, roles, and access permissions.
• Perform data uploads and exports using tools like Mx Loader.
• Monitor system performance and usage, and assist in preparing related reports.
• Maintain documentation for system changes, support tasks, and standard operating procedures.
• Work closely with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve user issues.
• Support user onboarding and assist in training users on basic Maximo functionality.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Basic understanding of enterprise applications or asset management systems is a plus.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with basic knowledge databases (MSSQL, Oracle and IBM DB2) and ITIL concepts is an added advantage.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative team environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
