Torrent power a thriving utility with presence in all sectors of power i.e. Generation, transmission and distribution is expanding its portfolio rapidly in Generation and Transmission.

In addition to its ambitious plans in renewable energy and new technology domains, Torrent Power intents to expand its operation in coal based thermal power plant in line with Government India’s target of 500 GW of overall capacity and immediate addition of 80 GW of thermal capacity.

For this purpose, Torrent Power wants to hire highly skilled and experienced persons having hands on relevant experience of developing & execution of thermal power plant projects.

Key Responsibilities :
• Review of tender / bidding documents and summarizing project requirements Project scoping & contracting for BTG and BOP systems.
• Preparation & review tender documents and requirements.
• Develop & review comprehensive technical proposals and cost estimates.
• Review and validate engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with tender specifications.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical support during the bidding process.
• Conduct site visits and assessments as required.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical or C&I engineering
• Experience :
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in thermal power plant projects with BTG & BOP systems
• Skills :
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
