The successful Mechanical Engineer, will join a team of dedicated engineers with the goal of pushing the edge of what is possible with professional audio products. Success in this role requires a strong interest in product design, acoustics, physics, mathematics, design for manufacture and the drive to perform in a competitive industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and analyze 3D models of parts and assemblies.
Product design with a focus on Design for Manufacturability.
Prototype and source material for new products.
CAM programming for all prototype builds.
Develop BOMs from CAD drawings.
Analyze prototypes and produced product for deficiencies, defects and potential improvements.
Skills and Qualifications

Completion of a minimum of Bachelors degree in Physics or Engineering.
Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working in Audio industry would be an asset.
Proven experience bringing finished products to market.
Good sense of design with some related experience.
Strong CAD skills.
Experience with FEA / BEM Software (COMSOL, Ansys, etc.).
Familiarity with acoustic principals is an asset (can be learned).
Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent leadership, mentoring and organizational skills.
Sound verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, computer and problem-solving skills.
