Role Description:

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Glove Dipping line within the facility. This role ensures that machinery operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Special emphasis is placed on equipment used in the glove manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with stripping machine adjustments, beading brush adjustments, cuff brush adjustments, and cleaning brush adjustments according to glove specifications.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery. Implement upgrades and modifications to existing systems as required.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on various types of machinery and equipment, including motors, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation and prevent breakdowns.
• Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and production staff to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize production disruptions.

Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; ITI / Diploma a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience (preferably in the glove manufacturing industry)

Work Environment:
• The Mechanical Technician will work in a variety of settings, including production areas, maintenance workshops, and outdoor environments. The role may involve exposure to noise, dust and varying temperatures.
