About the role:



As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining our Manufacturing Facilities and Services on the Kalgoorlie Explosive Reserve. You will be working within a small maintenance team and your primary focus will be working hands-on on preventative maintenance schedules, breakdowns & shutdowns.



This opportunity is residential to Kalgoorlie, so therefore all interested parties must have their own accommodation as FIFO is not on offer.

What you will be doing:



Support the operation of the manufacturing facilities within the reserve;
Work within the maintenance team and alongside the reliability engineer to develop maintenance solutions that cost effectively support long term plant operation;
Ensuring work practices and environment comply with SH&E standards; and
Working with the Production Teams in developing Continuous Improvement Initiatives, from concept through to implementation.
What you will bring:



Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment;
Mechanical Trade Certificate (essential);
SAP experience (desirable);
Excellent written and communication skills;
Strong safety focus.
