Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) - Sales to join our Sydney office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong network of relationships with both agency and direct clients and will be instrumental in driving our sales strategy and growth across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and market penetration for the groups retail media network.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key agency partners and direct clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Market Analysis: Identify and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities to position as a leader in retail media solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Sales and other team members to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Campaign Management: Oversee the implementation of sales campaigns, ensuring alignment with client expectations and standards of excellence.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, market insights, and client feedback to the Head of Sales.
Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, contributing ideas to enhance our offerings and drive innovation.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven track record in business development and sales within the media or retail sectors, with significant experience managing agency and direct client relationships.
Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to influence and build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the media landscape, particularly in the retail and airport sectors.
Passion: Demonstrated passion for making a difference and a proactive approach to problem-solving and getting things done.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively within an experienced team of media professionals, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
